Our lives revolve around bags, with most of our team working during the day at companies like eBags.com, Tumi.com, and TristaBaby.com - and spending our free time on this handbags.com side project. Alyssa: I grew up more as a tomboy than as a girly-girl, so my interest in handbags is generally for bold or classic designs that can take a decent amount of wear and tear but nothing super frilly or uber-feminine. I’m expecting my first child soon too so my posts might be more diaper bag-related as we go along here! You’ll always see me choose style and function first before any brand name-dropping as I don’t believe a bag has to be expensive to be a great fit your life and style.
Crystal: Up until I was in my late teens I was never a fan of handbags, in fact, I never liked carrying them. You were more likely to see me with a backpack instead and you can probably still find me toting one now and again. My first experience with Fashion was when my father started dating my stepmom. She grew up in Greenwich, CT/New York. This is when I was introduced to fashion. At that point, it started to grow on me and now I am always interested in the newest designers. I prefer the upcoming designers over the overpriced and overrated designers. Thanks to me, now my friends and I can all look HAUTE with the newest handbags!
Elizabeth: I grew up playing hide-and-seek in my Dad’s department store, so it isn’t a big surprise that retail and fashion have always been a big part of my life. I may be wearing mom duds now, but I am sure to carry a super fun and girly diaper bag and I always have a stunning leather clutch close by for Friday night “emergencies” – I can pull the fashion maven out of me at the drop of a hat!
Emily: Ever since I can remember I’ve had a passion for design and fashion. My true weakness is Handbags. Designing my own handbag line helped give me a true appreciation for the art form. I am inspired by colors, fabrics and textures. Silk, suede, polka dots, chartreuse….I love it all! My current obsession is finding the newest undiscovered designer from around the country.
Erin: I’m a complete travel nut! I love to experience new cultures, activities and people. I have an eclectic style and love bright colors and textures. I like to think I’m unique and I am a true believer that everyone should express their personality through their clothing, accessories and..of course handbags! I enjoy fashion and new designers! I can’t live without my family, my friends and…yes…my Chloe handbag 
Hannah: My style is a mix and match from a lot of different places…I’m not sure that there is a word that can describe it. I am a total sucker for deals and am always searching for them! Color is something that I love; it surrounds me all the time and is one thing that I don’t think I could live without I’m a big believer that fashion is an art form and am constantly inspired by all types of art and how they relate to the fashion world.
Jodi: I love handbags…. All kinds, all sizes. I can’t say there is one designer I like over another. When I see a bag I love, the perfect bag for me, whether it be a clutch or a huge oversized tote my heart jumps for joy. I love fashion but also have a traditional side. I love to travel and have lived in some of the greatest cities in the US; Atlanta, NYC, Dallas and of course now Denver. Guess that is what has made me to diverse.
Jordan: Handbags are one of my many passions, and I don’t think I could describe my “handbag personality” in just one word. It really depends on when you ask me! People-watching is where I get a lot of style inspiration. The way two people can take the same item and make it there own …………. This is why I LOVE Vegas!! Such a crazy variety of people and style.
Laura: Handbags are my favorite accessory. I love how carrying the right bag can completely change your outfit. I love all bags from bright and bold to metallic and sleek…for me the bigger the bag the better. I love to find that great bag that shows my personality.
Shari: I love handbags for sure, but I always tend to gravitate toward totes. Probably because I like to throw just about everything in them. I’d say my style is more classic than anything – classic black bags, simple patterns, pastels, flowers…but I’m never afraid to carry a bold red or striking patterned bag if the mood strikes me.
Vithya: I love a classic style with a modern twist. My ideal self expression of style is polished and refined. I am drawn to the more grown-up looks, country clubs, and white calla lilies than Juicy sweats and platforms. And, ever since I was a little girl, I remember loving handbags. Who wouldn’t? They only carry everything we need from day to night! A handbag can always bring together the mood, color, and story of an outfit. Since I like a more simple-chic look, handbags and shoes allow me to play with funkier and current trends.
