If you haven’t heard of the fabulous
Betsey Johnson, then it’s about that time that you did! I love love this designer! She designs with unique and creative written over ever piece, which makes her absolutely FAB in my book! A little background:
Betsey Johnson’s love of movement and costumes stems from her days as a dancer. Later, as part of the Warhol scene in the sixties, Johnson put the velvet in the Velvet Underground (she later married band member John Cale) and dressed legendary models Twiggy and Verushka; Edie Sedgwick served as house fit model. Her foray into retail began with the Betsey Bunki Nini boutique in 1969. Now in her 60s, Johnson, seems unstoppable, and the awards continue to pile up: In 1999, the CFDA created the Timeless Talent Award just for her, and in 2002, she was inducted into the Fashion Walk of Fame on New York City’s Seventh Avenue. A survivor of breast cancer, Johnson remains an advocate in fighting the disease, creating one-of-a-kind items for auction and serving as Honorary Chairperson for the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer initiative.
Besides her amazing designs of clothing and shoes, this designer has two amazing handbag lines:
Betsey Johnson and
Betseyville. Personally I love her collections, because they are truly unique, fun and totally bring out your hidden personality!
Cheers to an amazing designer!

Do you love sultry, rich leather handbags?? Well if you do there is an awesome handbag brand for you!
Aaneta Handbags! These amazing handbags are crafted from rich leathers to form beautiful shapes in many sizes! A little background info…
A mother/daughter design team launched
Aaneta in the late 90’s in Uruguay. They launched Aaneta by 2002 and in 2004 Valerie introduced the bags into the US market, who immediately fell in love with the designs. With only a couple of years in the US market under their belt, Aaneta has become a successful brand and name in luxe in the market.
I love love the simplicity of these handbags! The beauty is in the quality of leather and the shape! These handbags will be a collection that will be fashion forward classic for years and that works with any outfit!
Aaneta Handbags! Yeah We’ve Got It! What’s Your Bag??

My Fav:
Muddy in Burn Orange

Here is a great new collection of leather handbags from Tumi, the T-Collection. I especially like the
Tumi Large Hobo handbag, available in white calfskin leather with a signature Tumi brown vacchetta leather T. This large hobo bag comes in beautiful yellow or black calfskin as well, but the white hobo is a gorgeous bag, and white is a great color this season.

This weekend let’s all splurge on a handbag! But not just any handbag…let’s splurge on a modern, hip and yet timeless piece that will satisfy our needs for years to come….A great brand for this is
Babee D Handbags!
Babee D Handbags are beautifully constructed and perfect for any woman. A littl background about the designer…
Dayme, owner/designer/model of Babee D. introduced her first line of apparel and jeweled accessories in the fall of 2003, and has been a hit ever since.
Babee D.is currently sold in Nordstrom’s Trend Department, and other fine boutiques throughout the US. Dayme’s inspiration for her collection is nature at its finest. Incorporating the essence of Bologna, Italy, the large wooden antique doors, cobble stone streets in the city of Florence, and the architecture in Paris are some of the many influences that inspired Dayme to design each collection.
Here’s a glimpse of my favs, let’s all splurge!

Vera Bradley Handbags! We all know this designer and if you don’t…..well what a perfect time to get to know her…This wonderful fabric handbag and accessory line is full of color, fashion, durability and fun! A little background….
The Vera Bradley story is a testimony to the American Dream: While on vacation in March of 1982, Patricia and Barbara were awaiting a flight in Atlanta when they began to notice a definite lack of feminine carry-on luggage. The longtime friends wasted no time in correcting this situation. Within weeks, these dynamic women had created a company, named after Barbara’s mother, capable of marketing and manufacturing their cleverly designed products. The demand for their unique luggage and handbags has grown and so has Vera Bradley, which is now nationally and internationally recognized.
I love
Vera Bradley because they have created a bag for anything you can think of….one that is timeless is the Handbag. A perfect pop of color and bag to carry anywhere. I also love the
Culing Iron Cover,
Cosmetic Bag,
Weekender and
Tie Tote. The best news….they are very affordable fashionable handbags! With so many styles to choose from…how can I only pink one….
Check out all the styles,
Vera Bradley will be sure to have something you’ll have to have. I know I’ve already found several:) Cheers to affordable fashion!!

This
Francesco Biasia bag is a perfect example of an upcoming trend for this Spring’s handbag lines. Contrasting textures will be all over the streets. For example, this
perfect fit double handle hobo mixes suede and patent leather perfectly. The contrast draws attention to the handbag, and who doesn’t want that? Just like we saw in the straw and rafia bags, contrasting textures will be a hot item for this Spring!

Coming from a long line of artistic family members,
Antoinette Lee began designing at the age of 15. She now produces one-of-a-kind designs out of New York City, and ensures that each bag is crafted with careful detail and workmanship. Here is one of Antoinette Lee’s designs that I love:

It is the
Besa Stitch Hobo. Pay close attention to the details on this handbag: braided leather details on the handles, shiny gold hardware, stitching detail on closure, buckle detail, and the contrast of black and white leather. This designer really makes each handbag a work of art.
