eenamaria launches in UK Department Store: Allders

Harold Tillman or Owner of Allders, Jaeger and Editor at Vogue UK to many….will be opening the new Fashion Capital boutique at Allders Department Store along with Sarah Mower, Fashion Editor at the Daily Telegraph.
WOW!! What an honor, a last minute invite to have the eenamaria collection be part of the new boutique in this 147 year old department store. I am flying Thursday to my homeland to launch the first venue in the UK to carry the eenamaria bags!! So, exciting. Happen to be in London on Friday? See the invite and directions below!
In other news, a very fabulous, very inspired and deliciously hilarious Robert Verdi had me over to his fabulous Manhattan pied-a-terre (of course entirely sponsored by ridiculously lavish brands – hustler supreme that he is) to get a sneak peak on last Friday’s She’s Got the Look. Yowzers..that show is hot and somewhat crazy at the same time!

It’s time to replace that tattered, old wallet!
My wallet is my security blanket…it comes with me everywhere, even when I’m not carrying a handbag. So, obviously it eventually starts to show that excessive use. I have recently invested in a new wallet, and LOVE the new ideas that have come out since I got my last one. More accessible and roomier pockets make investing in a new wallet entirely necessary. Plus new cute styles don’t hurt either!
Inspiration in Odd Places
Now everyone likes to root for an underdog, I mean no matter how successful, glamorous or powerful you are, we’ve all had moments where we felt like we had to struggle to succeed. And given the normal characteristics of prime-time television and it’s surprising to see a short, stocky, bespectacled, braces-wearing
Latina carrying one of ABC’s hit shows, but sure enough Ugly Betty has a strange talent for sucking you in and making you root for the quirky little assistant.
In my opinion a large part of Betty’s charm lies with her status as a constant walking fashion disaster. I mean floral prints, Cheeto orange, leopard and enough accessories to deck out three drag queens… the list goes on and on. Yet every now and then I catch myself admiring one of the pieces that the stylists have so carefully clashed against one another.
With that in mind, I started looking for cute bags that would fit the bill of WWBW (What Would Betty Wear?) that I would actually be willing to wear in public. Given, I would like to think I would put a little more consideration into my ensembles, but I guess I’ll have to leave that judgment to the fashion police…
