Camera Bag or Handbag?
I’m not sure what to call this. The Fossil Signature N/S Bag is considered a camera bag and while I definitely see how it can be used this way, I also think it could be called a shoulder bag. Made from a beautiful logo jacquard fabric with leather trim, this bag has all the organizational storage you could ever want.
- Front interior wall pocket for cell phone or small camera
- Interior open top slide pockets for accessories
- Back wall zippered accessory pocket

Add to these features the fabric lined interior and an adjustable shoulder strap and you clearly have one well-made organizer bag that’s perfect not only for use with a camera, but also for other daily necessities like credit cards, cell phone, makeup, etc.
So you see my dilemma? This bag certainly doesn’t look or function like your traditional camera bag. It’s more like a classic handbag and organizer bag in one and that means it’s perfect for daily use even when you aren’t carrying a camera. But, when travelling, this handbag-like appearance can be a handy feature. Carrying your camera in a bag that doesn’t look like a classic camera bag will help you look less like a tourist so you don’t stand out to potential thieves. So maybe this bag is best described as a camera handbag. What do you think?

| With all the recession talk that has been going on these past few months I’ve been wondering….are designer handbags ever going to make a come back?
I was reading this interesting article on cnnmoney.com about how Coach is going to start offering their handbags at lower prices in order to woo customers. According to the article they are going to lower prices “10-15% for handbags and small leather goods.” Working with their partners to bring down production costs is their focus to accomplish their goal of cutting the retail prices for customers. Soon you will be able to get a coach handbag for $300 or less! Unbelievable right. Of course it’s all relative to what kind of income people have and what % of that they are willing to spend on handbags. Still…interesting to think about where higher priced brands are going to be in the upcoming years. | Serious props to polyvore.com! I love that site and am totally obsessed with it right now. If you have not been to it, go! You will absolutely love it. Believe me. Ok, so let’s go through this ensemble. First off, everyone most likely has a pair of jeans that they can use for this. Also, a basic white peasant top or any other shirt similar will work great! Break out those old floral prints too, those would look fab with this. Of course you need to accessorize! You’ll be seeing lots of gold; on this example I used some long gold necklaces and a large ring. Sandals will definately be jeweled and sparkled out to the max. I love bringing in a hint of color to the outfit with these teal sandals. The headband is what really makes this outfit for me. You can get these for cheap I gaurantee it. The handbag is oversized(still very in) and has fringe accents. |
