The canvas trend is really starting to take off! This is one of Kate Spade’s canvas creations-it’s her License Plate Canvas Medium Shopper. I think it’s cute; definately something that I can see myself carrying around on a day of shopping or even just day-to-day. Measuring 15.5″ x 10.5″ x 5.75″, it is sure to fit all of your stuff, and maybe even leave room for more!  Chloe Handbags are beautiful works of art! I personally love Chloe everything…especially their handbag collections. One classic beauty is the Chloe Bay Bag! The simplicity of this bag is beautiful, yet modern. This handbag would be the perfect addition to any, and I mean any outfit. The only downfall about this beauty….it’s price:( It is not affordable for everyone , at a price of $1780-$2195

But there is hope for those of us on a tighter budget…and no, not fakes! I found a perfect similar bag from Bo Bo Bags, called the Multipocket Top Handle Satchel. The price is resonable at $240.00. It comes in beautiful black patent, red patent and orange patent, and also various soft leather colors. It’s not a Chloe but it has the look of simple, modern fashion…which we all love!

When a designer is too expensive for you…don’t freight…you can still find a handbag that works for you!

Every handbag deserves a stylish purse or wallet to go with it… it’s all in the little details, whether you like leather purses or non leather, large purses or small purses- it doesn’t matter! Why invest all that money in the handbag of your dreams if your purse isn’t up to scratch? Purses come in all shapes, sizes and colours so there really isn’t any excuse to not be completely coordinated- you could even have one to match every handbag (although that may be a little extreme…)

The new Spectator Tote Handbag from Tumi comes in a richly textured white coated canvas from Italy, and it is trimmed in deep brown vacchetta leather. This beautiful tote handbag is a head turner. This is one of my favorite handbags in Tumi’s spring collection. The materials are gorgeous. The shape and design of the bag are very classy, and the leather trim & details on this handbag are unmatched. This is a must-have for spring.

This Spring and Summer you are going to be seeing a lot of this type of wallet. This particular example is by Lodis, and is their Opera Slim Purse Wallet. The name explains it all; it is a purse in a wallet. Carry it as a clutch for a night out and still be able to carry all of your valuables! There are a lot of brands that have started carrying these wallets, so you will be able to find them at many different price ranges. The point is; they are cute and very functional!

It’s almost the weekend, and I am hoping for warm weather and lots of sunshine. This bag goes perfect with my warm weekend; it’s the Top Zip Medium Hobo Tote from Bo Bo Bags. It also comes in red, orange and black! This bag includes side pockets, interior cell phone pocket, interior slide pocket, and an interior zipper pocket. Nica always produces unique designs and this bag is no exception- this is the Nica Beech Tote and is designed out of a fabulous faux leather (fabulous because its so soft and has a stunning aged effect finish!) I love the style of this bag as its slouchy, summery and I can carry all my life around in it!

The pale blue/green colour of this shoulder bag will add a subtle touch of colour into my wardrobe, whilst still being highly wearable- this handbag will go with everything! (and if it doesn’t I’ll just have to buy it in every colour!) The over sized charm on this bag ties in nicely with the embellished trend…. and is the perfect finishing touch.

Alright, so this isn’t exactly supposed to be a clutch, but I think that it would make a great one! This is Cole Haan’s Village Collection Large Cosmetic. 

One way that I save money on clutches is to buy cosmetic bags or small travel bags. Usually you can’t tell the difference, and it’s a lot cheaper than buying the actual evening bag. Even if you are going designer, you will save some money. My advice for this summer… shop around; look for sales on cosmetic bags and use them as clutches. Nobody will know!

I absolutely HEART the Limited edition Hayden Panettiere Bag by Dooney & Bourke! Aside from being a beautiful, SUPER LARGE, rich-colored red patent leather handbag, the bag’s detail even features 18 carat gold finish hardware!

The Hayden bag retails for $500, so if you’re not quite sure about dropping that much on a red patent leather bag, you can save a little on the J.J. Winters Patent Buckle Satchel. The J.J. Winters patent satchel is stylish, has adorable fuchsia satin lining, costs less than the Hayden, and makes for a quality luxury handbag investment.

If you’re really not yet invested in the patent leather craze, save a ton of dough on a well designed, but moderately priced Big Buddha Ibiza Bag.
